Guizhou is one of the more diverse provinces in China!
There are plenty ethnic groups still living in traditional buildings, with their own cuisine, and celebrating local festivals.
This will be an opportunity for you to join those happy people to sing and dance together in the rural areas of Guizhou and Guangxi.
Moreover, the rice terraces in Longsheng are also famous for their particular shape, showing how locals smartly developed agriculture in ancient times.
Visit Guilin and Yangshuo, which are also known for their unique lanscape.

Detailed Itinerary
Guiyang
Day 1: Welcome to Friendly Guizhou, China!
Upon your arrival at Guiyang Airport, you'll be met by our English-speaking tour guide and transferred to the 4* Guiyang Regal Hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Qianling Park, named after Mount Qianling, which incorporates the soul and spirit of the Guizhou Plateau. More than 1,500 kinds of trees, flowers, plants and over 1000 kinds of rare medicinal herbs grow naturally on the mountain.
Visit the Hongfu Temple, which was built during the early Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911).
Guiyang - Kaili
Day 2: Visit Kaili and Learn About Folded & Silk Felt Miao
Drive about 3 hours to Kaili.
After lunch, visit Qingman, a quiet village inhabited by the Folded & Silk Felt Miao, and learn about their culture.
Another visit will be arranged to go to a Miao village to see traditional paper making.
Enjoy the beautiful views on the way. You’ll have a chance to hike on the country road.
Kaili - Langde - Rongjiang
Day 3: Discover the Miao Villages of Langde and Datang
A short drive along the Bala River will take you to the Miao village of Langde.
It is a real gem of a village with traditional wooden houses and waterwheels.
After this, you will continue your journey to Datang, a Miao village with an aquatic granary and the Miao women's ‘mini skirt’.
After lunch, meet the Shui people on the way to Rongjiang.
Rongjiang - Congjiang - Zhaoxing
Day 4: Drive to the Dong Village of Zhaoxing
On the way, visit Basha, a small Miao village with very little signs of modern influence.
The local people rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and buying in markets for daily necessities. Both the men and women can be seen in traditional costumes wearing their hair long.
Continue driving to Zhaoxing, one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000.
The Dong can be recognized by their turbans (for men), and pleated skirts (for women). They are also best known for their architecture, particularly their drum towers, and wind and rain bridges (Feng Yuqiao), which are pavilions for sheltering people during bad weather. Enjoy the famous “Grand Song” performance of the Dong at night.
Zhaoxing - Sanjiang
Day 5: Head to Chengyangqiao Dong Village
You can choose to spend this morning at your leisure or to go hiking to one of the small villages nearby for their special celebration activities if there are any.
Then, drive to Sanjiang to visit Chengyangqiao Dong village, which is made famous by one of the most beautiful wind and rain bridges (Feng Yuqiao).
Sanjiang - Longsheng
Day 6: Hike Around The Stunning Longji Terraced Paddy
Today, drive about 2 hours to Longji.
This afternoon and evening are left for you to hike around the Longji terraced paddy to take pictures and visit the small villages around.
Longsheng - Guilin
Day 7: Travel to Unique Guilin
Drive about 5 hours to Guilin.
Take a city tour in Guilin and discover the many gorgeous hills and the friendly people!
Guilin - Yangshuo
Day 8: Go on a Li River Cruise to Yangshuo
Go on a full-day Li River Cruise to Yangshuo with lunch on board.
Depart from the hotel in the morning.
Transfer to the Zhujiang Pier for a wonderful cruise.
You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, and cows wandering around on both sides of the river bank.
Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon.
Enjoy some free time to explore the old town after checking into your hotel.
Attend the Liu Sanjie Impression show at night.
Guilin
Day 9: Goodbye, Guilin!
Spend the morning at your leisure, and transfer from your hotel to Guilin Airport.
