Belize International Airport - Ambergris Caye
Day 1: Journey to Ambergris Caye
Welcome to Belize! You will first be met and greeted at the exit of Belize International Airport, followed by assisted check-in to board a local shared flight to San Pedro.
Upon your arrival into San Pedro, a representative will be waiting to take you to the hotel, where you'll get to relax and unwind for the rest of the day.

Day 2: A first day in paradise
Paradise awaits! After breakfast, you'll have the day to make the most of the spectacular deep blue that surrounds the island. You'll be only minutes away from the second-longest barrier reef in the world, so make the most of it.
From today, your diving package features five days of two-tank diving, including an experienced dive master, tanks and weights. Additional diving gear is not included but can easily be rented and paid for at the local dive shop.

Day 3: Get to know the Belize Barrier Reef
After breakfast, set out to enjoy another epic two-tank dive! The Belize Barrier Reef is 186 miles long, and contains three of the four living atolls in the Western Hemisphere - in these parts, there's so much for you to explore beneath the surface.
Belize is a scuba diver’s paradise due to its spectacular sites and diverse marine life. The reef is home to over 70 species of hard coral, 36 species of soft coral, and a diverse ecosystem for several thousands of plants and marine animals. Belize is also home to a total of 500 species of fish, 45 hydroids, and 350 species of mollusc. A diversity of sponges, marine worms and crustaceans can also be discovered in these vibrant depths.

Day 4: A great location for diving enthusiasts
After breakfast, another two-tank dive is on the cards. San Pedro is the perfect spot for divers, as its close proximity to the reef allows you to be at top dive spots with 10-15 minutes by boat! If you wish to experience the reef's beauty from a convenient location, you've certainly come to the right place.
After some time underwater, enjoy the evening at leisure. Why not take the afternoon to explore the neighboring island of Caye Caulker, just 30 minutes away by ferry?

Day 5: The enigmatic Great Blue Hole
Fuel up at breakfast, as you'll be taking an epic journey to none other than the Great Blue Hole - a large underwater sinkhole at the center of the Lighthouse Reef Atoll, off the coast of Belize.
This site was made famous by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who declared it one of the top 10 best scuba diving sites in the world. It is almost perfectly circular, over 1,000 ft across and 400 ft deep, and is surrounded by fringing reefs - which make it a great spot for snorkeling adventures, too.
Please note, the Great Blue Hole requires you to be an advanced diver, aged 15 years and above and having dived within the last three months. A minimum of 10 divers is needed for this tour, and the day of your Great Blue Hole dive may vary from the itinerary.

Day 6: More fantastic diving pursuits
After breakfast, enjoy another two-tank dive from San Pedro. Each tank offers an average of 30-50 minutes of dive time depending on air consumption, and reef dives can be done in one of 40 local sites off the coast of San Pedro. You could upgrade to a dive at Turneffe North or Elbow/Calabash Caye, or even opt for a triple-tank dive at an additional cost.
Later on, spend the evening at leisure, exploring the lively heart of San Pedro, renting a golf cart to get around easily, or booking another water adventure with the dive shop.

Ambergris Caye
Day 7: A final day of diving
After breakfast, enjoy your last two-tank dive in Belize. You can request a shallow dive at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, the most popular marine site in the area. It incorporates the southernmost marine and coastal areas of Ambergris Caye including the barrier reef, seagrass beds, and the mangrove islands of Boca Chica and Cangrejo Shoals. A zoning scheme was developed in order to ensure sustainable use and guarantee its conservation. Hol Chan is divided into four zones, which include no-take areas and zones that regulate and promote sustainable fishing practices. Diving trips there include an exciting stop at Shark Ray Alley.
Then, enjoy your last evening in San Pedro: take this time to book a sunset cruise or dress up and enjoy one of the local restaurants - a great way to recap your amazing island experience.

Day 8: Farewell, Belize!
The hardest part of your trip has finally come: leaving Belize. You will be taken back to the San Pedro airstrip for your 15-minute return flight to the international airport, where your onward journey awaits. Safe travels!
