Detailed Itinerary

Amsterdam Schiphol
Day 1: Arrival in Amsterdam
Welcome to the Netherlands. On your arrival at Schiphol Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your private driver who will escort you to your luxurious accommodation in the heart of Amsterdam. Your hotel comprises a collection of 17th- and 18th-century canal houses, providing aristocratic atmosphere with historic appeal.
Take a moment to freshen up, then embark on your first exploration with a private walking tour of Amsterdam's vibrant city centre. With your guide, discover the capital’s iconic architecture and rich history.
As the evening unfolds, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming Nine Streets and Jordaan districts, where you can visit quaint boutiques or unwind with a drink and a charcuterie platter by the canal. Enjoy fine dining at one of Amsterdam’s exclusive restaurants to bring the day to a perfect close.

Amsterdam
Day 2: Waterways & Old Masters
Start your day with a private canal cruise. Sip champagne as you glide along Amsterdam's picturesque canals, past historic facades. The cruise will drop you off at Museum Square to visit the Rijksmuseum, home to masterpieces such as Rembrandt’s The Night Watch and Vermeer’s The Milkmaid.
Afterwards, take a stroll through the Vondelpark or enjoy lunch at one of the cafés nearby. Then, head to the nearby Van Gogh Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of his works, including Almond Blossom and his iconic self-portraits. If you’re craving more culture, additional museums can be added to your day’s itinerary.
As evening approaches, enjoy a unique fine-dining experience on Lighthouse Island. A private boat will take you to this exclusive restaurant, offering you a delicious meal with stunning waterfront views (please request your reservation in advance in summertime).

Amsterdam - Volendam - Zaanse Schans
Day 3: Dutch countryside tour
After breakfast today, experience the quintessential Dutch landscape. Your driver will take you to the enchanting village of Marken, found on an island in the Markermeer. Stroll along the quaint streets and tour a traditional clog workshop.
Next, hop on a ferry to Volendam, a famous fishing village. Sit on the picturesque harbourside and enjoy local delicacies such as kibbeling (crispy fish nuggets) or herring.
Continue your journey to Edam, famous for its historic cheese market. While the market itself runs only on certain days, the square and weigh house are worth seeing all year round. From there, head to Zaanse Schans. This open-air museum is home to iconic windmills that powered the industrial revolution in the 17th century: step inside to see these incredible machines in action.
Return to your hotel, before a poignant visit to the Anne Frank museum in the evening.

Amsterdam - Haarlem - Lisse
Day 4: Haarlem history
A short train ride today takes you to the heart of Haarlem, a city filled with history and charm. Wander through the Gouden Straatjes (Golden Streets) and enjoy window shopping in the local boutiques. Stop by JopenKerk, a renovated church turned beer bar and sample locally brewed beers.
If you prefer café culture, take a seat on one of the terraces along the Grote Markt and enjoy a leisurely drink as you watch local life go by. Visit the impressive St Bavo Church, famous for its Müller organ or embark on a scenic boat tour along Haarlem’s canals.
In the afternoon, hop on a train back to Amsterdam, for an evening at leisure to enjoy the many wonderful restaurants and bars.
During springtime, you can choose an optional tulip-lovers day trip instead. Your private driver will take you to the heart of the colourful and photogenic tulip fields, followed by a visit to the renowned Keukenhof gardens.

Amsterdam - Rotterdam
Day 5: Centre of innovation & architecture
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. You’ll next travel to Rotterdam, a city known for its modern architecture and innovative design. Your new home for the next two days is housed in a historic building that was once the headquarters of the Holland-America Line.
Start your exploration with a private guided walk to see Rotterdam’s iconic landmarks, including the Cube Houses and Erasmus Bridge. If you're interested in art, a visit to the Kunsthal or Depot Boijmans van Beuningen is a must.
For dinner, we've reserved a table for you in the Euromast tower restaurant. Dine in style as you sip champagne and enjoy breathtaking views of the entire city as the sun sets over the Maas river.

Rotterdam - Kinderdijk
Day 6: Exploring windmills
After breakfast this morning, you’ll be whisked away on a private boat from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk, home to 16 beautifully preserved windmills. These 18th-century windmills were vital to the country’s water management system until the late 1800s, when steam then eventually electricity took over. Step off the boat and take a leisurely stroll around the mills. You'll be able to take a peek inside two of these pristine, preserved buildings to understand more about their inner workings and their part in Dutch heritage.
Your private boat will be waiting on the Molenkade to take you back to Rotterdam at the end of your visit. Back in the city, this evening is free for you to spend however you please.

Rotterdam - The Hague
Day 7: World-class art & seaside strolls
After breakfast, you’ll head to The Hague, the political heart of the Netherlands. Here, you'll stay in a luxurious former palace that is the five-star hotel destination in the Netherlands.
Once you've settled in, it's time to embark on your private historic walking tour, discovering prominent landmarks such as the Binnenhof and the Vredespaleis. Visit the Mauritshuis to see masterpieces like Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer and, if you wish, an optional visit to the Escher in the Palace museum adds a touch of surrealism to your cultural menu.
On sunny days, unwind at Scheveningen beach, enjoying fresh seafood along the boulevard and taking a stroll along the pier. The evening belongs to more luxury dining in the city: with plenty of fabulous venues, you will be truly spoilt for choice.

The Hague - Delft
Day 8: Delftware discovery day
Delft, a city known for its rich history and beautiful canals, is just a short tram ride away from The Hague: a journey well worth making.
Just a short walk from the station is the Royal Delft factory, where the iconic Delftware pottery is still crafted using traditional techniques. Witness the process of production and see the artisans in the atelier hand paint each piece, just as they have for centuries. Delftware is a timeless souvenir and, if you’re feeling creative, you can even take part in a workshop to design and paint your own unique piece.
After the tour, indulge in a delightful high tea, all served on classic blue-and-white Delftware dishes. Suitably refreshed, the afternoon is yours to discover the centre of Delft and explore the Vermeer Centre, a tribute to the life and paintings of Johannes Vermeer.
Hop aboard a tram to return to The Hague for the rest of the evening.

The Hague - Amsterdam Schiphol
Day 9: Departure day
On your final day in the Netherlands, enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel. After, your private driver will meet you there and transfer you to Schiphol Airport or an alternate departure location, depending on your travel arrangements.
