Upon arrival, a knowledgeable naturalist will greet you at your lodge.

After a delicious lunch, gear up for an exciting jungle walk guided by a local expert, immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity of the forest. Explore traditional Tharu villages nestled on the park's outskirts this afternoon, and learn about their unique lifestyle and culture. Time seems to have stood still here but a lot of conservation work has gone into developing this town as a historic centrepiece. With its elegant 18th-century architecture, pedestrian-friendly streets, and alfresco dining options, Bandipur has a unique distinct European ambiance. Rise and shine for an early adventure to Sarangkot this morning, where you'll witness the simply breathtaking sunrise illuminating the majestic peaks of Mount Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and the iconic Mount Fishtail.

In the afternoon, head to the vibrant lakeside area and embark on a scenic boat ride across the tranquil waters of Phewa Lake. On the opposite shore, begin your leisurely hike to the Peace Stupa, also known as the White Pagoda, perched atop the Pokhara valley rim. From this serene vantage point, marvel at panoramic views encompassing the valley floor, Phewa Lake and the towering Himalayan ranges, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Fishtail. This two-hour hike offers a beautiful Himalayan experience at the foothills of Annapurna.

This morning is free in Pokhara to for you to relax. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then, in the afternoon, transfer to Pokhara airport for your flight to Kathmandu.

Step into the enchanting realm of India today, as you fly to Bhadrapur this morning, nestled in the eastern part of Nepal bordering North-East India.

After you pass through Kakarvitta, the bustling Nepal-India border point, enjoy a scenic drive through picturesque tea gardens, as you make your way to the renowned hill station of Darjeeling. Perched at an altitude of 2042 metres, Darjeeling is set amid a majestic backdrop of the great Himalayan peak of Kanchenjunga (the third-highest peak in the world at 8586 metres) and is regarded as the Queen of East India.

In the evening, relax and enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Embark on an unforgettable hike up Tiger Hill (2100 metres) to witness the peaceful sunrise over the peaks of Mount Kanchendzonga, Mount Everest and Mount Makalu amid the Himalayan Range. En route back to Darjeeling, explore the revered Yiga Choeling Monastery, a sacred sanctuary of Tibetan Buddhism housing a towering 15-foot statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha. Dating back to 1850, this monastery stands as one of Darjeeling's oldest.

Return to your hotel for a hearty breakfast before delving into the vibrant culture at the Tibetan refugee self-help centre. Then, dive into the world of mountaineering at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Zoo. Conclude your day with a leisurely evening walk around the Mall of Darjeeling.

After breakfast this morning, we drive to the Gangtok capital of Sikkim. En route, stop at the Lamahatta and Triveni view point for sweeping panoramas of the region!

Once we arrive in Gangtok, it's time to check into your hotel, relax and eat dinner as you unwind.

Day 12: Scenic Seven Sisters

You'll have an adventure in the picturesque village of Laachung (2400 metres) in North Sikkim this morning, a journey brimming with scenic delights. Enjoy the beautiful 6-7 hour drive, with a delicious lunch stop along the way. Marvel at the majestic Seven Sisters waterfalls and soak in panoramic views from the Singik viewpoint, where, weather permitting, you might catch sight of the towering Kanchenjunga peak. Keep an eye out for vibrant wild orchids in bloom during springtime and don't miss a visit to the enchanting Naga waterfalls.

We'll arrive in Lachung, where you can settle into your accommodation and have dinner.

Day 13: Floral fantasy

Gear up for an exhilarating day to the Yumthang Valley this morning. Travel through panoramic landscapes adorned with a vibrant tapestry of over 36 species of rhododendrons, primulas and alpine wildflowers, earning its title as the ‘Valley of Flowers’. Spot yaks and dzos grazing among the meadows as you drive by.

Take a stroll across the Lachung Chu and enjoy a refreshing dip in the hot springs (don't forget your swimwear!). Cap off the adventure with a drive to Yumeysamdong Zero Point at an unbelievable altitude of 4700 metres, offering unparalleled mountain vistas.

After, you'll arrive at your hotel in Gangtok in time to enjoy dinner and relax before tomorrow's adventures.

Day 14: Alpine adventures

Head to Tsomgo Lake today, also known as the Source of the Lake. At 3760 metres, don't forget your warm clothes, as you'll be greeted by the crisp mountain air. This sacred lake, fed by the melting snows of surrounding peaks, holds deep cultural significance. After arriving, jump on a cable car ride to the top of Tsomgo Lake, followed by a leisurely hour walk down to its serene shores.

Afterwards, head back to Gangtok for dinner.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Paro first thing this morning. Begin your exploration with a visit to the majestic fortress of Drugyel Dzong, known for its strategic perch offering stunning views of Mount Chomolhari on clear days. Journey through the picturesque valley to Ta-Dzong, now the National Museum, where seven floors brim with Bhutanese culture and history dating back centuries. Descend to Rinpung Dzong, a bustling administrative centre and monastic school, crossing the iconic traditional bridge into the charming town of Paro, your home for the night, in time for further exploration.

Day 17: Bhutan highlights

Embark on an unforgettable hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the ‘Tiger's Nest’. You'll wind your way through fragrant pine forests to reach this monastery, perched dramatically on a granite cliff 800 metres above Paro Valley. Legend has it that the revered saint Padmasambhava flew here on a tigress in the 7th century and meditated in a cave for three months, subduing demons and spreading Buddhism in the region. The monastery, built in the late 17th century, holds immense spiritual significance for Bhutanese people, drawing pilgrims from far and wide. Then, pay a visit to Kichu Lhakhang, adding another layer of cultural richness to your Bhutanese adventure.

Afterwards, it's time to head back to your hotel for another night in Paro.

Once you've checked into your hotel, take time to explore the town, with a visit to the Buddha Park, the largest Buddha statue in Bhutan. Also, make a visit to Tashicho Dzong, National Memorial Chorten and the 15th-century Changangkha monastery.

In the afternoon, explore the Painting school, National library, royal goldsmith workshop and visit the handicraft centres to find some keepsakes to take home with you.

Dochula Pass - Gangtey - Phobjika Valley

Day 19: Glacier Valley adventure

Drive the Dochula Pass this morning to reach Wangduephodrang. Weather permitting, you'll catch panoramic views of the majestic eastern Himalayan ranges, including the towering Mount Gangar Punsum at 7520 metres. Descending through lush valleys to Lobesa, soak in the diverse landscapes of Bhutan.

Continue your journey with an excursion to Gangtey Gompa Valley, nestled at 2800 metres. Here lies the only Nyingmapa monastery in western Bhutan, set against a stunning backdrop of natural beauty. Discover the enchanting valley, home to the rare black-necked cranes migrating from the Tibetan plateau to escape the winter chill.

Later, return to your hotel in Gangtey for an evening of relaxation and reflection.
