Detailed Itinerary

Sossusvlei
Day 1: Arrive in stunning Sossusvlei
After meeting your pilot and checking in for your short, private flight, you will head to Sossusvlei, home to the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib - at 400m, among the highest in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. The reserve is home to a variety of desert wildlife including oryx, springbok, ostrich and reptiles.
On arrival at the airstrip, you’ll transfer by road to the lodge, situated in the &BEYOND Sossusvlei Private Desert Reserve, a vast 31,419 acre expanse deep in the Namib, the world’s oldest living desert. Settle into your suite, then choose from a selection of carefully curated activities. Enjoy the well-appointed luxury of the lodge, complete with infinity pool, wellness centre, signature shop, bar and vintage wine cellar. Bordering a dark-sky reserve, the lodge features incredible stargazing facilities for a perfect end to the day.

Sossusvlei
Day 2: Exclusive adventures in Sossusvlei
Enjoy a full day in this incredible area. Wake up early and enjoy a luxury hot air balloon flight, with indulgent breakfast in the dunes (optional). Join an exclusive lodge excursion. You can explore Dead Vlei, a white, salt claypan dotted with ancient trees and enjoy the cool shade of the Sesriem Canyon. Take a guided trip to discover the desert people and the ancient San rock paintings.
Return to the lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. Then spend the afternoon enjoying another activity. Head out on a nature drive, go wild in the dunes on a quad-biking adventure or take to the skies for a scenic flight over the dunes and surrounding desert. Back at the lodge, cool off in the pool, unwind in the wellness centre and relax at the bar while enjoying the unobstructed desert vistas.

Swakopmund - Skeleton Coast National Park
Day 3: Flight to the iconic Skeleton Coast
Stretching from the Swakop River to southern Angola, the Skeleton Coast is known as the 'Land God Made in Anger'. Thousands of miles of sandy desert dotted with shipwrecks meet with the cold waters of the Atlantic.
An amazing array of wildlife and flora manages to survive in this harsh but beautiful environment, with extensive seabird colonies, cape fur seals, zebras, gemsbok, desert-adapted elephants, lions and many more. Surfing enthusiasts are drawn to the powerful waves; photographers flock here for the eerie shipwreck graveyards and breathtaking coastline.
Today, your private charter takes you via the Seal Colony to Möwe Bay, where you'll stay at Shipwreck Lodge. Time and weather permitting, stop for a beach lunch en route to your accommodation. Relax with an evening sundowner on the deck, looking out over the starkly beautiful views.

Skeleton Coast National Park
Day 4: River and desert discovery
A full day at Shipwreck Lodge, with time to explore this unique area. Spend your morning exploring the Hoarusib River. Visit the Clay Castles, a striking geological formation and look out for the elusive desert-adapted elephants, brown hyenas and lions.
The afternoon offers plenty of time for adventurous activities in the desert. Join one of our guides on a scenic quad-bike ride over the Roaring Dunes. Conducted in an area specifically allocated to minimise the environmental impact, this tour takes approximately 1.5 hours (one guest per quad, minimum age 16 years).
Later, try out dune boarding. Lying down on a polished board, slide down the dune headfirst. This is not for the faint-hearted: it is possible to reach speeds of up to 80km/h with this exhilarating sport.
Spend the evening back at your accommodation, to relax and unwind in these truly unique surroundings.

Etosha National Park
Day 5: Flight transfer to Etosha National Park
Transfer to the airstrip and board your private charter via Ondangwa (for refuelling) and on to Etosha National Park.
Located in northwestern Namibia, Etosha National Park offers a premier game-viewing experience. The diverse vegetation ranges from dense bush to open plains and the Etosha Pan - a shallow depression covering an area of 5,000 sq km. Dry and shimmering for most of the year, it fills with water after seasonal rains, making it the perfect habitat for wildlife. The area attracts a variety of large mammals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, zebra, giraffe, and diverse birdlife including flamingoes and pelicans.
Enjoy a scenic drive to the eastern boundary of Etosha, and discover your camp for the next two nights, situated at the heart of the Onguma Nature Reserve. Settle in for a restful evening, ready for a full day of spectacular game drives.

Etosha National Park
Day 6: Etosha big game drives
Departing after breakfast, journey into the world-famous Etosha National Park. Explore the eastern part of the wildlife sanctuary with one of the knowledgeable Park Rangers, with a good chance of meeting four of the ‘big 5’ at a waterhole or in the bush.
Later in the day, head out for the Onguma Sundowner Drive. We'll depart in the late afternoon - a chance to look out for more big game and the large flocks of flamingo attracted to the pans. Stop at a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink, accompanied by some snacks, while you watch the African sunset. Painting the sky in shades of orange, yellow and pink tones, it is a magical way to experience this landscape.

Windhoek
Day 7: Return flight to Windhoek, departure
Today, you will transfer back to the airstrip to meet your private charter flight for your return to Windhoek International Airport.
