Marrakech
Day 1: Welcome to Marrakech!
Upon arrival into Marrakech Menara Airport, look out for the friendly face of your chauffeur waiting for you in the arrivals hall.
After assisting you with your luggage, your private transfer will drive you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Don't forget to look out the window and be awed by this majestic city.
Marrakech is a bustling city and gateway to the most authentic of Moroccan culture.
Prepare to have your senses dazzled and enchantedby the city’s historic medina. The artisanal heritage of the city thrives in the heart of the souks. On those ochre-dusted lanes, you’ll be exposed to a Morocco unlike any other.

Day 2: Journey to the Atlas Mountains
This morning, drive through a varied and beautiful road crossing the Marrakech plain, headed for the Atlas mountains.
Enter the valley of Asni and its red clay villages surrounded by fields of wheat and dominated by the foothills of the Atlas. Ouirgane is a pretty village clinging to the mountainside, sitting at 1000 meters high.
The road rises up to 2130 meters, then drops down into the Taliouine region, famed for its argan trees. After Aoulouz we approach the village of Tazount.
Here, we will meet our trekking crew and set off on a short afternoon walk through rough, cultivated fields and then into a splendid gorge.
We'll camp below the main village of Tislit, in a pretty valley which shelters a number of small settlements.

Day 3: Immerse Yourself in the Beauty of the Tislit Gorges
After breakfast, we leave the campsite and begin our day with a visit to the spectacular gorges of Tislit.
We'll cross a lunar landscape before arriving at the valley of Tizgui where we'll trek up the valley crossing numerous Berber villages and terraced fields.
After a picnic lunch under walnut trees in the valley, we'll then spend the afternoon visiting a fortified Granary which dates back to the 17th century.
We'll then carry on walking up until Tizgui village where we'll have an overnight stay in a camp near the village.

Day 4: Discover the Villages of Tizgui
We leave our campsite at Tizgui and hike towards Tisswitine pastures.
We'll spend half a day walking through a lunar landscape crossing several sheepfolds where the nomadic people stay during the summer seasons. We arrive at our campsite in the early afternoon. After lunch, the afternoon is free to enjoy as you wish.
Our campsite lies at the foot of Jebel Siroua, which sits at an elevation of 2600 m. Enjoy the starlit sky before going to sleep in the comfort of your well-appointed tent.

Day 5: Hike to the Heights of Siroua
Breakfast will be taken early in the morning so that we can start climbing to Siroua.
The track to the summit is not steep and we will walk up at a leisurely pace and quietly enjoy the views all around us. Once we reach the summit, we admire panoramic views over the surrounding mountains of High Atlas and valleys across as far as the eye can see.
We'll have a picnic lunch along the way before descending to the base camp by the Azib of Iriri for the overnight stay.

Day 6: Find Serenity in Aziwane
We'll leave our camp this morning and set off for a wonderful day walking through breathtaking scenery.
Walk over the pass of Azwou which sits at an elevation of 2450m and trek down crossing grazing lands and green pastures.
In the afternoon, we'll explore the site of Aziwane with its spectacular volcanic rocks before heading back to the campsite where you'll have dinner and time beneath the stars.
You’ll have some time to enjoy the camp and contemplate the peaceful quiet of Morocco's mountain regions.

Aziwane - Amassine - Marrakech
Day 7: Journey Back to Marrakech
We set off for a half day hike down to the village of Amssine, where our trek ends.
After lunch, you'll be transferred back to Marrakech. From the quaint oases of southern Morocco to the towering High Atlas Mountains, we drive through amazing landscapes going over the famous Tizi-n-Ticka pass at 2260 meters.
Upon arrival, you’ll check into the comfort of your riad before having the evening to enjoy the city at your own leisure.
Why not visit the heart of the city to see the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the Badi Palace and the Bahia Palace, both stunning examples of traditional Moroccan architecture, before strolling through the souks and taking in the bustling Jemaa El Fna square, with its many stalls and traders as well as historical sites.

Marrakech
Day 8: Say Farewell to Morocco
All good things must come to an end but we hope you have enjoyed your time exploring the very best that this region of Northern Africa has to offer. The rich and unique history, its magnificent natural beauty and the charming people that makes Morocco the country that it is.
At an arranged time you will be transferred from your hotel to Marrakech Menara International Airport for your international flight back home.
