Detailed Itinerary

Poidgorica - Durmitor Np
Day 1: Day 1: Explore the Beauty of Durmitor National Park
We jump right into beauty with a nice ride through two massive Montenegrin gorges – Moraca and Tara. On our way we’ll make a couple of stops and there’s plenty of nice spots to visit: medieval Moraca Monastery, Biogradska Gora National Park and Biogradsko Lake. We recommend taking an exciting zip tour of Tara lake! After this nice ride we’ll come to Dobri Do, the widest valley of beautiful Durmitor National Park. There you'll get set up to have a night under the stars in a tent. We will have a delicious dinner at local family that traditionally spends summer seasons in the mountain.

Durmitor Np - Prutas Peak
Day 2: Day 2: Beautiful Panoramic Walk on Durmitor but Prutas
So many peaks to choose from but we will take you to Durmitor but Prutas (2.394 m a.s.l.), because it's considered the most beautiful one. It looks amazing because of the vertical layers and is the most attractive panoramic walk in this magical mountain range. The trail leads up from our camping spot to hidden details of Durmitor, uncovering its beauty – from the pass of Skrcko Zdrijelo we’ll enjoy views of the highest part of the massif. Finally, the top of the peak, we will see the bigger part of beautiful Montenegrin mountains, wide Piva highland and quite far into Bosnian territory. In short, nature lovers are going to be in heaven!

Durmitor Np - Dragisnica Valley - Poscenje
Day 3: Day 3: Hidden Treasures under The Big Rock
Even though this tour should be classified as “easy trekking tour” we never skip the beautiful spots in our tours of northern Montenegro. Simply put, it’s an amazing walk through fabulous landscape that starts from Durmitor foothills. You will be going down to Komarnica valley through marvelous forests, passing under one of the longest pieces of rock in whole Europe – 3.5 km long and a 800 meters high rocky wall of Boljska greda. Passing ancient maple forest under the path, we’ll soon reach marks of civilization – charming small villages and the road through them will lead us to our next accommodation.

Poscenje - Nevidio Canyon
Day 4: Day 4: Amazing Canyoning Adventure
No doubt, this is an ultimate tour of Montenegro! In the last 4-5 years canyoning has become a big thing in local outdoor tourism as there’s many fantastic gorges whose conquering means a super fun and adrenaline experience. And this one is most special in Montenegro. The name – Nevidio – translated from Montenegrin means “never seen” for the simple reason that nobody managed to pass through it until 1955.
Today it is the most popular canyoning tour and a sort of “trademark” of our active tourism. Thanks to super-experienced and trained guides who know every single rock in this part of Komarnica River flow. Spectacular stone boulders, crystal clean water with many waterfalls, super tiny passes and big halls is something that only Nevidio can offer.

Poscenje - Piva Canyon - Rudinice
Day 5: Day 5: Stunning View on the Piva Nature Park Path
Get ready for some fun on two wheels! Today we’ll cycle to the beautiful Piva Nature Park, which is our next destination. As you are passing over Nevidio Canyon, you will start wandering through picturesque remote villages, forests and then finally arrive to the amazing Piva Lake. This panoramic trip will bring us to beautiful village of Rudinice, placed at the edge of Piva Canyon. Perfect spot to enjoy real peace, beautiful nature and wide horizons, as well as fantastic food, nice cabins and traditional hospitality of our hosts.

Rudinice - Piva Lake - Pluzine
Day 6: Day 6: Kayak The Emerald Green Waters of Piva Lake
Piva Lake is the largest and deepest Montenegrin artificial lake. If you didn’t know it was artificial already, you’d never guess it’s made by humans because it fits perfectly between the massive rocks of Piva Canyon. It simply allures you to come closer and enjoy in its drinking clean, emerald green water.
One of the best ways to explore this place is to do it kayaking – we’ll paddle on it to Pluzine, the center of Piva Park of Nature, to enjoy a fantastic environment. We’ll stop on our way at an awesome hidden camp named “Piva Silence”, a real paradise for those who want to stay far from others (and who know of it!), enjoying great food, fresh drinks, swimming and perfect silence.

Pluzine - Piva Canyon & Lake - Tara Canyon
Day 7: Day 7: Thrilling White Water Adventure on Tara River
We’ll end this adventure with one of the most popular things that you can do in Montenegro – white water rafting on Tara River. It will be two hours of bumping on high rapids of crystal clear water in the most beautiful and the deepest canyon in Europe. Sounds like lots of fun, doesn't it? The most recommendable months for this type of activity are May and June - in this time some rapids are graded at a 5+. The river shines in its full glory with lots of side streams and waterfalls to complete this unforgettable experience. And don’t worry about safety – we work with most experienced and the best equipped skippers!

Pluzine - Niksic - Airport/other Destination
Day 8: Day 8: Last Hurrah in Montenegro!
Even though we have finished the active part of the trip, there are some more places to visit! On our way back we’ll stop at the medieval orthodox Piva Monastery to enjoy its beauty and feel its spirit of calmness. Also, we’ll visit Niksic, second biggest city in Montenegro to have a short walk and to taste fresh beer from its brewery, the oldest and most loved in the country and wider. Another option is visit of Ostrog Monastery, the best known and the most popular orthodox monastery in wider region.
Afterwords its farewell as our driver will take you to the airport. We know that the memories you made here will last you a lifetime! Goodbye friends!
