Day 1: Arrival in Havana

Welcome to Cuba, the perfect place to start your honeymoon! When you arrive at the airport, your personal driver will be waiting to whisk you away to your casa particular, where you’ll settle into your home for the next few nights.

Once you've unpacked, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the vibrant streets of Havana. The city’s colonial charm, the sound of salsa music drifting through the air and the colourful surroundings create a romantic atmosphere perfect for newlyweds. Take in your first views of Cuba’s unique culture and enjoy the excitement of what’s to come.

Day 2: City & sunset

After breakfast, your guide will welcome you to Havana and take you through its lively streets.

Discover why the old town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and get lost among the hustle and bustle. Visit the four main squares (Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco) which showcase Havana's culture and architecture. Admire beautiful wrought iron gates, balconies and internal courtyards full of music and life.

Later on, you'll experience Havana at sunset on our exclusive excursion. Ride in an American classic car, for a scenic tour of modern Havana, which includes landmarks such as the Malecón, 5th Avenue, John Lennon's Park, the Colon Cemetery, the Revolution Square and the Havana University.

Wrap up the day at La Cabaña Fortress, where you'll witness the spectacular cannon shot ceremony before a delicious dinner in Old Havana.

Day 3: Lush valley & tobacco farms

After today's breakfast, you'll head off on a scenic journey to the lush tobacco-growing region of Pinar del Río, and the beautiful Viñales Valley.

Begin with a stop at the Los Jazmines viewpoint, a breathtaking vista that’s perfect for a romantic photo op. Visit a local tobacco farm to learn about the traditional process of cigar making and see the harvest or drying process in action, depending on the season. Your tour of the region continues with a visit to the local caves, where you can enjoy a tranquil boat ride through La Cueva del Indio, before visiting the the Mural de la Prehistoria, the largest ancient mural in Cuba. After a traditional lunch in the countryside, head back to Havana, ready for an evening of music and dancing.

Head out to one of the city’s legendary cabarets for the perfect end to a beautiful day.

Day 4: Explore the southern pearl

After today's breakfast, it's time to discover Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South.

Take a romantic stroll along El Prado, one of Cuba’s most beautiful boulevards, lined with stunning neoclassical architecture. The elegant streets and panoramic views of Punta Gorda create the perfect place for exploring together.

As the day fades, get to know Cienfuegos at sunset on an exclusive guided tour and traditional Cuban dinner. Walk to El Prado, one of the city's most emblematic streets, and learn about its rich history and culture. Admire the majestic Triumphal Arch, the picturesque Malecon and the panoramic views of the bay from Punta Gorda. You'll hear fascinating anecdotes about the legendary Cuban singer and composer Benny Moré.

Dinner is served at a local restaurant set high up in a historic building, providing glorious views and the perfect romantic setting to end the day.

Cienfuegos - Guanaroca, El Nicho - Trinidad

Day 5: Pink flamingos & pastel-coloured mansions

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast together, then continue the trip onwards to Trinidad, with a stop en route at Laguna de Guanaroca. This serene lagoon is home to flamingos and other birds; take a pleasure boat ride with your loved one to observe the wildlife in its natural habitat. Then move on to El Nicho, a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush jungle – ideal for a romantic dip in natural pools.

Arriving in Trinidad, settle into your accommodation, then explore this UNESCO World Heritage site at your leisure. Take a stroll hand-in-hand along its cobblestone streets, for a chance to admire the pastel-colored colonial mansions that symbolise the past.

In the evening, let the vibrant nightlife of Trinidad enchant you on a unique guided bar tour. The music and atmosphere will make for an unforgettable night, as you experience the joy of Cuban culture in the company of your new spouse.

Day 6: Bicycle ride through the city

After a lazy breakfast, start your day with a private bicitaxi (Cuban rickshaw) tour of Trinidad, for an immersive experience of the town’s everyday life. See the local markets and stores, and witness the rationing system in use; pass schools and learn about education in Cuba, and cap off the city tour with a visit to a traditional ceramics workshop.

The day concludes with dinner for two at Restaurant Bar Café Trinidad, a cozy, family-run restaurant. Savour traditional Cuban flavours in this charming setting, surrounded by the warmth of the Cuban people.

Day 7: Discover sugar & ceramics

After today's breakfast, you’ll travel in style to the Sugar Mill Valley, an area rich in history.

You'll be travelling in style in a vintage car through this UNESCO-listed site, where the ruins of sugar mills tell the story of the valley’s once-thriving industry. Pause at a romantic lookout point for breathtaking views and photographs, and explore an old hacienda with a tower steeped in stories of love and adversity. You’ll also visit a ceramics workshop, where you’ll see this centuries-old tradition passed down through generations.

In the afternoon, you can relax at one of the nearby beaches, such as Playa Ancón or enjoy a hike through Topes de Collantes. The peaceful natural surroundings are perfect for spending quality time together.

Day 8: Cuban history & paradise islands

After breakfast, it's time to travel to the romantic getaway at Cayo Santa María, with a stop in Santa Clara.

Home of the Che Guevara Mausoleum and museum, Santa Clara is a notable location of the Cuban Revolution. Explore the main sites to find out more about its role in Cuba's past and present, before continuing on to the island paradise of Cayo Santa María.

After breakfast this morning, you'll return to Havana for the final night of your honeymoon. Once you've arrived at your accommodation and settled in, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you please.

Spend your last evening soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Find a a local paladar to enjoy a leisurely dinner, savouring authentic Cuban dishes. Stroll along the Malecón at sunset and experience Havana’s lively nightlife at a salsa club or live music venue.
