Rome - Amalfi Coast
Day 1: Welcome to Italy!
Welcome to Italy! Your driver will meet you at the gate and assist with border procedures and luggage collection before transfering you to your hotel on the Amalfi Coast. Our assistant will also provide you with an Italian SIM card for free calls, SMS, and internet access.
Depending on your arrival time into Italy, If time allows, you'll head to Pompeii and have the opportunity to explore this ancient city.
Arrive at your hotel on the Amalfi Coast and settle in and get rested ready for your trip ahead.

Day 2: Cruise the Amalfi Coast
After breakfast, your driver will take you on a half-day tour around the Amalfi Coast. Drive along the UNESCO World Heritage-listed 'State Route 163,' a masterpiece of human engineering. Following the natural contours of Europe's most spectacular coastline, you will pass through picture-perfect villages such as Praiano, Furore, and Conca dei Marini, and past verdant cliffs adorned with waterfalls.
Along the way, you'll visit a mozzarella cheese factory to witness the authentic process of making real Italian mozzarella and sample the freshly made cheese. You'll also stop at a limoncello factory, where a professional liqueur maker will guide you through the process of crafting your own limoncello.

Amalfi Coast - Matera - Fasano
Day 3: Step back in time
This morning, you'll rendezvous with your personal driver to collect your rental car before embarking on a scenic journey to Fasano.
En route, pause in Matera for a guided tour of the city. Explore the historic old town, including its most distinctive districts and the remarkable "Sassi" cave dwellings, intricately carved into the limestone rock. You'll feel as though you've stepped back in time to an era long past.
In the afternoon, arrive at your hotel in Fasano, where you can unwind and recharge for the adventures that await tomorrow.

Day 4: Trulli houses of Alberobello
Drive to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique concentration of over 1,000 trulli houses. Immerse yourself in the charm of these iconic limestone dwellings, each with its distinctive conical roof.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Locorotondo, where you'll take a leisurely stroll starting at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. Take in the architectural marvels of the area, including the elegant Palazzo Morelli, showcasing exquisite Baroque design.
As the day comes to a close, settle in for the night in Fasano, reflecting on the day's discoveries and anticipating the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 5: Gastronomic wonders in Fasano
This morning, it's time to explore the gastronomic delights of the region. You will visit a vineyard where an expert will share all the secrets about the locally made, globally famed wine before enjoying an olive oil tasting, another typical product of Apulia.
If you’re looking to go further afield, our optional guided walking tour of Lecce will see you experience more of southern Italy, it’s Basilica of Santa Croce and Piazza Sant’Oronzo where you can try some “pasticciotto leccese.” If you're looking for a hands on cultural experience, an optional cooking class with a professional chef is available.

Fasano - Ostuni - Fasano
Day 6: A day in Ostuni
Today, adventure to Ostuni where you will meet your personal guide to enjoy a guided visit of the town.
Ostuni shines with a pearl-white opulence across the Italian hillside. Here you will see the historical city center with the Duomo and other main attractions. Whilst you're here, take the chance to try some of the cuisine in the mouth-watering restaurants and stylish bars.

Fasano - Catania - Giarre
Day 7: Soar to new heights on Mt Etna
Start the day early and arrive at Bari airport to return your rental car at the desk before catching your flight to Catania.
Upon arrival, you'll pick up your new rental car and proceed to your hotel in the Giarre area. En route, you'll embark on an excursion to Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano. Weather permitting, you'll ascend to a height of 1800m, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. During your time on Mount Etna, you'll have the opportunity to visit a typical agriturismo, where you can sample local wine, olive oil, and cuisine.
As the day concludes, you'll settle in for the night in the Giarre area, reflecting on the day's adventures amidst the stunning Sicilian landscape.

Giarre - Taormina
Day 8: Cook like a local
Head to Taormina, where you'll partake in a delightful cooking class to master the art of preparing typical Sicilian dishes. Lunch will be included, allowing you to savor the fruits of your culinary labor.
In the afternoon, you'll rendezvous with your personal guide for a walking tour of Taormina. Begin your exploration at the Greek theatre, where the architectural influences of ancient Greek, Roman, and Mt Etna converge. Be sure to stroll along the bustling main street of Corso Umberto, renowned for its charming boutiques and vibrant atmosphere. As night falls, settle in for a restful overnight stay in Taormina, reflecting on the day's cultural and culinary adventures.

Day 9: Rest and relaxation in Taormina
Today you have the opportunity to spend the day at your own pace and leisure.
Whether you choose to sunbathe by the water before taking a dip in the inviting Mediterranean or choose to explore further afield to neighboring coastal towns, know that any decision made if the right one.
Browse the shops of the local boutiques for locally made food, drinks and wares. Pick up some souvenirs for those back home who aren’t able to experience la dolce vita like you.

Taormina - Syracuse
Day 10: Serenity in Syracuse
This morning you will depart for your hotel in Syracuse.
Upon arrival, meet your guide to enjoy a guided walking tour of Syracuse, one of the great ancient capitals of Western civilization. Founded in 733BC and once a powerful Greek port with a fleet that was feared throughout the Mediterranean, it is the birth place of Archimedes.
Syracuse is the gateway to the other several Baroque Hill towns which are UNESCO World Heritage listed sites, located at the foot of the Iblean Mountains.Soak up the lively atmosphere of the city at sunset before heading back to your hotel in the evening.

Syracuse - Noto - Syracuse
Day 11: Baroque beauties in Noto & Ragusa
Today, visit Ragusa and Noto. Noto, one of the several towns listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, is located at the foot of the Iblean Mountains. It is an architectural marvel that shines with an imposing grandiose hypnotism.
After, head to Ragusa where you will admire the main churches like the Dome of St. Jorge and the Iblei Gardens, each glowing with a soft inner light. You will enjoy a walk along the Andrea Doria e Bisani promenade before heading back to Syracuse in the evening.

Syracuse - Avola - Syracuse
Day 12: Locally made produce in Avola
This morning you will reach the Avola winery to learn more about local wine production. It wouldn’t be a wine tour if you didn’t have the opportunity to taste it too!
Afterwards, you have the afternoon free to explore the winding streets and hidden treasures waiting to be discovered in Syracuse. Stroll at your own pace and find yourself lost in the Sicilian attitude towards a slow moving life.

Syracuse - Catania
Day 13: Goodbye, Italy
It's time to say goodbye to Italy! This morning, you’ll head back to Catania where we will say farewell. Drop off your rental car before catching your onward flight. Safe travels home.
