Day 1: Welcome to Greece!
Welcome to the vibrant city of Thessaloniki, Greece's northern gem, where a tapestry of history and modernity awaits.
With a population surpassing a million, this city is uniquely nestled among green land, lakes, and the stunning Thermakos and Strymonikos Gulf. Thessaloniki's roots stretch back to prehistoric times, and today, it harmoniously blends modernity with its historical treasures, from archaeological wonders and Byzantine churches, to award-winning wine bars and restaurants.
Upon arrival at the airport, a driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day can be enjoyed how you’d like!

Day 2: Time travel through Thessaloniki
Discover the enchanting history of Thessaloniki today with a private walking tour that explores its rich past. The city's Roman and Byzantine heritage comes to life as you visit iconic landmarks such as the White Tower, located at the port of Thessaloniki, which is the most photographed site in the city. Another popular site is Kamara, an arch constructed by the Roman general Galerius in the 3rd century AD.

Today, you’ll spend the day embarking on a fascinating private tour to Philippi. This nearby ancient city tells the captivating history of Eastern Macedonia and is home to the first Christian Church established on European soil by Saint Paul in 49/50 AD. From its founding back in 360 BC and success in the Hellenistic period, to the dramatic Battle of Philippi in 42 BC, and its eventual defeat to Slavic raids in the 7th century AD – this tour will take you on a journey through time in an interactive and engaging way.

Day 4: Home of heritage
This morning you'll head to the renowned Vergina, the first capital of the Kingdom of Macedonia. Referred to as 'Aigai', it offers a captivating glimpse into the lives of the Macedonian dynasty. A guided tour of the ruins will take you to key sites including the monumental palace and the burial ground. Don't miss the tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great, and the tomb believed to be that of Alexander IV, son of the famed conqueror.
In the afternoon, you’ll make your way to Veria, a significant town in ancient Macedonian history. Nicknamed ‘Little Jerusalem’ due to its collection of Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches, it’s a beautiful place to wander through and learn of its rich history, including that of Paul the Apostle who visited Veria at least twice between 50 AD and 57 AD.

Another day of history awaits! Today, you’ll explore the picturesque town Kalampaka, nestled at the foothills of an extraordinary geological phenomenon, Meteora. The iconic monasteries atop the soaring Meteora rocks, seemingly suspended in the heavens, have earned international acclaim. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Meteora is Greece's most important monastic center.
Tomorrow you’ll tour Meteora, but today, soak in the spiritual and religious history of Kalampaka and be prepared to awe as the sun sets behind the surrounding rocks of Meteora, coloring the sky in orange and pink hues.

We’d recommend a leisurely stroll through the enchanting old quarter, Plaka. As you wander through its cobblestone streets, you'll be transported to a world where picturesque buildings and distinctive architecture tell tales of centuries past. Along this captivating journey, you'll encounter remnants of a multitude of civilizations, from the Roman Agora to the Tower of the Winds, Hadrian’s Library, Lysicrates Monument, Fethiye Mosque, and numerous Neoclassical treasures. En route, you’ll stop at the Corinth Canal, a slender ribbon of water uniting the Peloponnese with mainland Greece. The initial proposition of this mechanical achievement dates back to 2,600 years ago but only became a reality when construction started in 1882!
After a short drive, you’ll arrive at Corinth. In its prime during the 1st century, it thrived as an essential hub for administration and trade. Here you’ll behold many magnificent relics, including the Doric-style Temple of Apollo and the Church of Apostle Paul, where you'll pay homage to the patron saint and protector of the city of Corinth.
