Day 1: Welcome to Cévennes
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the enchanting Cévennes region, where your senses will be immediately captivated by its beauty.
Nestled on terraced lands cultivated for centuries, Mas Corbières, a charming estate inhabited by several families, offers a serene retreat. Settle in and savor a traditional dinner in this idyllic setting. As night falls, marvel at the stunning starry skies before drifting off to sleep in this tranquil paradise.

Day 2: Your first night under the stars
After lunch, depart from Mas Corbières and trek towards the foothills of Fageas and the Asclier Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the Causses and the valleys of the Cévennes from this elevated vantage point.
Continue along the historic draille of Bonperrier, a traditional path used by animals and shepherds. Arrive in Les Plantiers, a quaint village in the Vallée Borgne, where you can swim and visit the House of Water.
Set up your bivouac (your temporary shelter/camp) and prepare for dinner before joining your guide for an enchanting evening under the second-best stargazing skies in France.

Day 3: A scenic exploration
After breakfast, set off towards the village of Ardailles, traversing from the Gardon Valley to the high valley of the Hérault, passing through the historic Resistance Pass from World War II.
Return to Bonperrier for a breathtaking 360° view of the Aigoual, the French valleys, and even the distant Mediterranean Sea. Arrive at the charming hamlet of Monna, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the craft of a local woodturner. Enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay at a cozy bed and breakfast after a rewarding 5.5-hour hike.

Day 4: Incredible landscapes & a cashmere workshop
Arrive at the charming village of Notre-Dame de la Rouvière and take a brief detour along a narrow road to the Valniérette, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim by the water’s edge.
Continue your hike through fragrant holm oak forests to reach the Triballe Pass, offering stunning views over the Rieutord Valley and the village rooftops of Saint-Martial. Descend along an ancient caladé path to the hamlet of Isserviel, renowned for its sweet onions and chestnuts. Wander through picturesque lanes with sweeping views of terraced fields, visit the beautifully restored 12th-century Romanesque church, and explore a renowned cashmere workshop.
Conclude your day with an overnight stay in your bivouac or a bed and breakfast.

Day 5: Journey to the Col des Fosses
Depart from Mas De la Goutanière and head towards the Col des Fosses, named for the ancient wolf pits once used for trapping. This col, situated between the Rieutord and Salindrenque valleys, features a historic planted stone from the Neolithic era, adding a touch of timeless intrigue to your trek.
Arrive at a charming chestnut grove in a historic forest house, where you’ll enjoy a restful night with sweeping views over the plains and numerous valleys. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay in a cozy yurt.

Day 6: Insights into Mediterranean flora
Traverse the scenic crests leading to Camp Barrat, a historic Protestant refuge from the Wars of Religion. Continue along the high paths to descend towards Soudorgues, a quaint village perched on the mountainside with stunning views over the Salindrenque Valley and the medieval Tower of Peyre.
Visit the Biotope de Montagnes, a collective of local producers, where you'll explore the rich diversity of medicinal and beneficial Mediterranean plants. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in either a comfortable guest room or a cozy bivouac.

Return to Mas Corbières via the northern slopes of Montagne du Liron and the summit of Fageas, following the historic transhumance routes. Enjoy a refreshing break at the base of the Rocher de l'Aigle before continuing to the Asclier Pass.
Descend to Mas Corbières for a well-deserved swim and relaxation. End your day with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the estate.

Before departing, bid farewell to your loyal companion, the donkey, who has been a part of your adventure. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport, concluding your unforgettable journey through this stunning landscape.
