Cairo
Day 1: Say Hello to Egypt
Welcome to Cairo, the bustling capital of Egypt! Your flight arrives at the international airport and you will be met by your driver, who will assist you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.
Enjoy a welcome drink and relax. Later, your tour leader will meet you in the lobby to discuss the details of the next few days with you and answer any questions you might have. In the evening, you can optionally visit the impressive Sound and Light Show on the Giza plateau, or simply rest at the hotel.
Cairo - Giza
Day 2: See the Magnificent Pyramids and Explore Cairo
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide, who will take you to the Giza plateau. Here, you will visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Marvel at this one-of-a-kind construction, that has survived millennia of human development and natural disasters. Visit the famous Sphinx, then have lunch at a local restaurant. Hop back into the car and let your driver take you to the Egyptian museum, where you visit the treasure room for the child king Tutankhamen. Continue to the Coptic part of Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then, it's off to Islamic Cairo, where you explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Spend a relaxing night at your hotel.
Cairo - Luxor
Day 3: Go for a River Cruise on the Nile
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver picks you up to transfer you to the airport, where you will board your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, your guide will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to the harbor, where you board your home for next days, a luxurious Nile cruise ship. Enjoy together the beautiful landscape while the Egyptian sun shines upon you.
Have lunch on the boat, then head out to visit the impressive temples of Karnak and Luxor. Spend the evening on the boat, and watch the sun go down and bathe the river in golden light. It is a splendid view!
Luxor - Edfu
Day 4: Explore the Valley of the Kings
Enjoy a refreshing breakfast aboard the ship. Then leave the boat for an excursion to the mystical Valley of the Kings where 62 pharaohs lay buried. Later move on to see the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was erected in the 15th century BC.
The last stop on this excursion will be the Colossi of Memnon. Head back to the boat for lunch, then depart with the cruise ship to sail to Edfu. Enjoy a delicious dinner on the deck while you watch the shore float by. Spend another relaxing night in your luxurious suite on the boat.
Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
Day 5: Visit the Temple of the Crocodile God
Wake up to another beautiful day on the Nile. Have breakfast aboard your cruise ship. Afterwards, disembark for a visit to the well-preserved, ancient Ptolemaic Temple. Look up to the temple’s imposing walls and learn about the archaic history behind them.
Then, get back on your ship and sail to Kom Ombo. There you will have the unique opportunity to take a closer look at the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek as well as Horus, the falcon-headed god. Perfectly symmetrical along its axis, this temple has a unique double design. Head back to your boat for lunch and continue along the Nile to Aswan. Enjoy watching the sunset from the deck as you sip on a cocktail before dinner is served.

Day 6: Explore the City of Aswan
Soak in views of the mighty river while you delight in your delicious breakfast. Spend the day sightseeing in the city of Aswan, one of Southern Egypt’s most enticing cities. First, visit the High Dam, one of the keys to Egypt’s modern industrialization. Besides generating electricity, the dam helps to regulate irrigation and prevent flooding.
Afterwards, you will visit the ancient Temple of Philae and the large Unfinished Obelisk. In the afternoon, board your private felucca, a traditional wooden sailboat. Journey on the Nile around the Island of Elephantine, a charming island with numerous archaeological sites. Return to your cruise ship for another night on the Nile under a canvas of stars.
Aswan - Cairo
Day 7: Enjoy Spectacular Views of Cairo
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to your luxurious Nile Cruise. Head to the airport in Aswan and take a domestic flight back to Cairo in Northern Egypt. There, you will be greeted at the airport and assisted to your hotel. Drop your bags and head out for a night on the town! Tonight, enjoy a romantic dinner at the Cairo Tower, the tallest structure in Northern Africa and one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks. Gaze out upon the Cairo skyline and soak in the amazing view. Return to your hotel for your last night in Egypt.

Day 8: Wave Goodbye to Egypt!
Have breakfast at your hotel and spend the morning at your leisure. Write some last-minute postcards, pick up a souvenir or two, or relax in the coziness of your hotel room. At the appropriate time, you will be picked up and transferred to Cairo International Airport. Catch your onward flight and wave goodbye to Egypt out the window! You will surely have had a spectacular honeymoon which you will never forget!
