For lunch, you may choose to dine at a traditional café in the historic center. In the afternoon, take an optional ride on the funicular to Lotrščak Tower for sweeping panoramic views of the city.

Alternatively, you can explore one of Zagreb’s unique museums, such as the thought-provoking Museum of Broken Relationships or the playful and interactive Museum of Illusions.

Plitvice Lakes - Split

Day 3: Plitvice Lakes & journey to Split

Depart early for Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Spend the morning walking along wooden pathways that wind over turquoise lakes and cascading waterfalls, surrounded by lush forest and crystal-clear waters.

After soaking in the park's breathtaking scenery, continue your journey south toward the coastal city of Split. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.

In the evening, you may choose to enjoy dinner by the Riva promenade where you can savor local cuisine with views of the Adriatic Sea.

Day 4: Exploring Split & Hvar Island

Begin your day by exploring the heart of Split with a visit to Diocletian’s Palace, one of the most impressive Roman monuments still standing. Discover key highlights within the complex, including the Peristyle courtyard, Jupiter’s Temple, and the Cathedral of Saint Domnius.

Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through Split’s old town where winding narrow streets reveal hidden cafés, local shops and centuries of layered history.

In the afternoon, board a catamaran or ferry for a scenic journey across the Adriatic to Hvar Island. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and unwind with a sunset drink in Hvar Town’s main square, surrounded by elegant architecture and the relaxed island vibe.

Day 5: Cave explorations in the Adriatic

Start the day with a boat excursion from Hvar to explore the Adriatic. Visit the famous Blue Cave on Biševo Island, where midday sunlight creates a glowing blue light inside the cave, a truly magical sight.

If the Blue Cave is too crowded or weather conditions change, the skipper may instead take you to Vis Island to see the Green Cave.

Your guide will share fascinating stories of the city’s maritime history, its time as an independent republic, and its more recent role in Game of Thrones.

In the evening, if you're feeling up to it, take a relaxed stroll through the Old Town and enjoy dinner in a quiet, tucked-away alley.

Dubrovnik

Day 7: A day at your own pace

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether you choose to relax by the beach or explore more of Dubrovnik through optional activities.

You might take the Dubrovnik Cable Car to the top of Mount Srđ where sweeping panoramic views reveal the city’s red rooftops, the shimmering Adriatic, and nearby islands.

Another option is a visit to Lokrum Island, a lush nature reserve just offshore, known for its tranquil swimming spots, scenic kayaking, and Game of Thrones filming locations.

In the evening, celebrate your journey with a farewell dinner at a terrace restaurant overlooking the Adriatic.
