Detailed Itinerary
Cuiabá - Poconé
Day 1: Arrival in Brazil
Arrive at Cuiabá Airport (CGB) and transfer directly to Araras Lodge.
Slowly drive through Transpantaneira Road enjoying the panorama and wildlife sights/encounters. Arrival check-in is followed by a walking tour of the surroundings. Return for dinner.

Day 2: Explore Poconé
Today, you will be able to acclimatize and enjoy a safari searching for endemic birds, tapirs, anteaters, and many other wildlife species.

Day 3: Active Day in Poconé
Today you can choose between different activities, including canoeing, horseback riding, and walking trails. The lodge also offers Jeep safaris during the day and at night.

Day 4: Drive to Porto Jofre
After breakfast slowly drive in a private car through the Transpantaneira Road. Arrive for lunch at the hotel. Afternoon to rest and watch birds around the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Boat Trip in Porto Jofre
Today, you will be able to enjoy a morning boat trip, where you will be able to spot jaguars on the banks of the river as well as giant otters.

Day 6: Observe wild Animals on a Boat
You will be able to go out on another boat trip today, either in the morning or in the afternoon. You will have great chances to observe many species of wildlife in the Pantanal.

Day 7: Flight to the Southern Pantanal
Morning exploring by boat. Return for check-out and lunch. Departure at 1:30 pm on a panoramic flight over the Pantanal towards the Caiman Ecological Refuge.
Arrive for check-in, rest, and tour at the end of the day and early evening for first impressions of the nature of the place.
