Tag 1: Arrival in Svolvær
On arrival at the airport, take a short bus or taxi ride from Svolvær Airport to Svolvær and check in at the hotel.
Svolvær is Lofoten's largest populated place with only 4,751 inhabitants. The city is a popular base for exploring Lofoten and is actually one of the most beautiful places in Northern Norway. Tag 3: Picturesque cruise from Svolvær to Tromsø
Begin today with a private 2-hour experience at the floating sauna in Svolvær harbor, then take a stroll in the city, pay a visit to the Lofoten War Memorial Museum or stop by the Ice bar.
Pick up your luggage ready to board the Hurtigruten, your transport through the fjords to reach Tromsø. Enjoy the gorgeous views of the Norwegian coastline, and as this is an overnight cruise, there may be the chance to see the Northern Lights from the deck after dark.

Tag 4: Tromsø and the magical Northern Lights
Arrive in Tromsø Harbour around 2pm. Tromsø lies mostly on Tromøya island, the contrast between the vibrant feel of the city and the rough terrain makes this a popular and intriguing destination.
There are plenty of museums to visit covering every aspect of life here. The Arctic University museum and Polarmuseet (Polar Museum) offer insights into the science of the landscape and the lives of explorers and local peoples respectively. Tromsø Museum includes a history of the indigenous people and an Aurora exhibition, while the War Museum and MS Polarstjerna uncover a darker history here. For a lighter look at local life, the Polaria Aquarium and Troll Museum, while the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum and Perspektivet Museum will satisfy a need for art and culture.

Tromsø - Tamok
Tag 5: Night under the stars
Pack for one night and prepare for your overnight experience glamping in the wilderness. Your trip will start with a 1h30min bus ride from Tromsø towards Camp Tamok. After you arrive, you will have the opportunity to relax and get geared up with warm clothes and boots to ensure your comfort during your time at the camp.
Once you are dressed for the cold, you'll then head out for an amazing snowmobiling experience with an oportunity to see the northern lights. After your evening activity, return to camp for a warm meal in one of the traditional lavvus, beforing heading to your Arctic glamping dome and spending an amazing night under the stars - and with some luck, the northern lights.

Tag 6: Explore more of Tromsø
After breakfast, spend your morning with the huskies on a dog sledding experience in the wilderness, surrounded by snow-covered landscapes and frozen fjords. Have lunch at camp, then take the bus back to Tromsø to enjoy the rest of your day in the city.
A good place to start is with a ride on the cable car. The two gondolas, known as Seal and Polar Bear, are spacious and reach the mountain ledge in just four minutes. From the viewing platform at the upper station, take in spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains, and fjords.

Tag 7: Reindeer sledding and Sami culture
Indulge in a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Sámi culture and join a fun Reindeer sled ride through the beautiful North Norwegian landscape. The Sámi are the indigenous people of the North and the Sámi guide will sheds a light on their culture, both past, present and future. Taste some typical Sámi food, see Sámi artifacts, hear stories and learn about their lives.
Reindeer sledding is an important part of the experience, as the oldest known form of transport in the north and a central part of the Sámi culture. The sledding takes place as a "raid" where each reindeer and sled are bound together in a long row with the lead reindeer in the front. This daytime excursion is a chance to get close to these fascinating animals and understand the central part they play to life in this region.

It's time to pack and return by bus to the airport.
