You'll have an adventure in the picturesque village of Laachung (2400 metres) in North Sikkim this morning, a journey brimming with scenic delights. Enjoy the beautiful 6-7 hour drive, with a delicious lunch stop along the way. Marvel at the majestic Seven Sisters waterfalls and soak in panoramic views from the Singik viewpoint, where, weather permitting, you might catch sight of the towering Kanchenjunga peak. Keep an eye out for vibrant wild orchids in bloom during springtime and don't miss a visit to the enchanting Naga waterfalls.
We'll arrive in Lachung, where you can settle into your accommodation and have dinner.

After arriving, jump on a cable car ride to the top of Tsomgo Lake, followed by a leisurely hour walk down to its serene shores.

Journey through the picturesque valley to Ta-Dzong, now the National Museum, where seven floors brim with Bhutanese culture and history dating back centuries. Descend to Rinpung Dzong, a bustling administrative centre and monastic school, crossing the iconic traditional bridge into the charming town of Paro, your home for the night, in time for further exploration.

Embark on an unforgettable hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the ‘Tiger's Nest’. You'll wind your way through fragrant pine forests to reach this monastery, perched dramatically on a granite cliff 800 metres above Paro Valley. Legend has it that the revered saint Padmasambhava flew here on a tigress in the 7th century and meditated in a cave for three months, subduing demons and spreading Buddhism in the region. The monastery, built in the late 17th century, holds immense spiritual significance for Bhutanese people, drawing pilgrims from far and wide. Then, pay a visit to Kichu Lhakhang, adding another layer of cultural richness to your Bhutanese adventure.

Drive the Dochula Pass this morning to reach Wangduephodrang. Weather permitting, you'll catch panoramic views of the majestic eastern Himalayan ranges, including the towering Mount Gangar Punsum at 7520 metres. Descending through lush valleys to Lobesa, soak in the diverse landscapes of Bhutan.
Continue your journey with an excursion to Gangtey Gompa Valley, nestled at 2800 metres. Here lies the only Nyingmapa monastery in western Bhutan, set against a stunning backdrop of natural beauty.
