Tag 3: A scenic journey northwest

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, before departing for the coastal charms of Pemuteran. You'll drive north along the stunning Pupuan route, a journey of around three hours. Keep your eyes wide open and your camera ready, as the road is surrounded by scenic rice terraces and lush jungle areas. Don't hesitate to ask your driver to stop for you to soak up the atmosphere and admire the scenery.

You'll later arrive at your welcoming and inviting homestay, to relax and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps change into your swimwear and enjoy a snooze by the pool?

Tag 4: The paradise island of Menjangan

Today, prepare to sail by shared local boat to Menjangan Island, home to a rich and vibrant underwater paradise. This island is part of the Bali Barat National Park, a sprawling nature reserve where the corals are simply stunning. Discover the vast underwater world and admire the multicoloured fish and corals as you snorkel.

After your picnic at lunchtime, head back to Pemuteran and enjoy a free afternoon, relaxing by the pool or setting off to explore at your own pace - you'll have a private driver at your disposal. Return to your accommodation in time for an authentic Indonesian dinner, and settle down for an overnight stay.

Tag 5: Coastal relaxation in Tejakula

After breakfast today, you'll check out of your homestay and leave Pemuteran on the west coast, en-route for Tejakula on the northeastern coast. The drive is about two hours and 30 minutes, after which you'll arrive at your hotel to relax and unwind. More poolside lounging can be enjoyed here, or head out to take a leisurely beachside stroll before your overnight stay.

After breakfast, spend the day free in Tejakula, without a driver. You could opt to relax at the hotel, go to the beach for a swim in sun-warmed waters, or discover a handful of scenic surroundings - if you're in the mood for a hike, follow a trail through the rainforest to find the secluded Yeh Mampeh Waterfall. Once you've arrived, check into your hotel to unwind and enjoy a quiet overnight stay.

Today, tuck into a hearty breakfast before joining an exciting snorkelling excursion around the Gili Islands. After breakfast, enjoy the day at your own pace without a car and driver. Spend it riding a bicycle along the coast, watching the sunrise, relaxing by the pool, and tasting your way across the town's many restaurants - don't forget to end with a scoop of gelato at Massimo, a local favourite! Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Tag 16: Farewell, Bali!
