Finland is magical in winter – think forests carpeted in snow, clear starry skies and the crisp, still air you only experience when staying somewhere truly remote.

There is so much fun to be had as you race through the forest on a husky sleigh and head out in search of the Northern Lights with a professional guide. Although you’ll feel like you’ve got the place to yourself, you will get the chance to spend time with a local reindeer herder learning all about these beautiful animals and what life is like this far north!

You'll visit the North Cape on this 3 day tour, a 1,000-foot-high cliff (307 meters) which is the northernmost point of Europe where you can view the Northern Lights.

In the ultimate King crab fishing experience, you'll be taken by boat out on the Sarnesfjorden where you'll stop to check what’s inside the traps down in the deep. Enjoy a fresh King Crab lunch on board!

Tag 1: Welcome to Lapland!

Welcome to the frozen north, full of surreal winter landscapes in one of the most beautiful countries on Earth. Whether you’re a keen winter sports enthusiast, ardent hiker, or simply a nature lover, Finland is a spectacular destination.

Once you check in to your hotel, you'll be taken by a guide on a Northern Lights hunt. You'll drive the snowmobile to a remote area where there is no light pollution of the city and watch the sky come alive with colors.

Enjoy the exciting ride across the snowy forest, and explore the untouched nature of Lapland. Celebrate a successful Northern Lights mission by tasting reindeer meat, Lappish sausages, and steaming blueberry tea as you relax to the sound of the warm, crackling fire.

Take a ride with a team of sleigh dogs on a sparkling snowy trek through the spectacular Finnish forest trails. After receiving a short introduction, the dogs are ready to take you on an exciting 10 km ride through the winter wonderland. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the dreamy fairytale-like scenery.

After the journey, warm yourself up with some hot juice and Finnish gingerbread biscuits, the local’s favorite winter snacks, as you listen to interesting stories of huskies.

In the evening, set off into the Lappish forest to explore snowy trails and discover the exquisite nature of the Arctic. Reindeer will take you on a peaceful sleigh ride through the woods.

Have you ever tried ice fishing, snowshoeing, or barbecuing on a frozen lake? Today you'll try all three!

Hike through the Arctic forest to reach your destination for fishing. If the snow is deep enough, strap on your snowshoes and experience walking - Arctic-style.

Arriving at the lake, you will drill through thick ice with the support of your professional guide. Ice fishing is the best choice for people seeking an authentic local experience. Wait for the fish by having a barbecue in the snow, tasting the Lappish pork sausages and salmon.

To finish the day in style, relax and enjoy the heated wooden sauna and hot tub. If you're feeling brave, cool down in the Finnish style by dipping into the icy lake or rolling in the snow.
