Immersive Bolivia wildlife tour: into the Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon region of Bolivia is one of the most diverse places in the tropics for animal watching, which of course, brings the excellent possibility of both birdwatching and photography.
This tour will give you the optimal opportunities to see many different, unique and endemic flora and fauna while being surrounded by the impressive natural beauty of the environment in places where very few people see.
With parrots and monkeys providing the ambient soundtrack, bathing with piranhas for the thrill, and the constant, unspoiled tropical fragrance, the Bolivian Amazon offers a complete change of scenery in a seemingly timeless environment.
It’s an adventure of discovery, what are you waiting for?

A private driver will pick you up from your hotel this morning and take you to the airport for your domestic flight to Rurrenabaque.
Upon arrival, we'll embark on a boat trip to visit a local community to learn a little about the way of life in the jungle. During the boat ride along the rivers Beni and Tuichi we can enjoy magnificent landscapes such as the Bala Canyon.
When we arrive at our Eco-lodge, Mashaquipe, you will be welcomed with a refreshing glass of fruit juice, will be shown your accommodation and we will have lunch.
In the afternoon we will take a leisurely walk along trails specifically designed for watching animals such as monkeys and peccaries and for learning about the natural environment.

After breakfast, we will prepare for spending a night camping in the depths of the jungle. We will have to carry the essential equipment during a walk of about 4 hours to reach our camp, Arenalito, where we can prepare lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, we will walk to the top of a mountain where we can see macaws, parrots and other birds. From there we can watch these colorful birds, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rainforest and a stunning sunset.
That night, if you want, we can take a short walk during which we have a great chance of spotting armadillos, snakes, monkeys, tapirs, nocturnal birds, etc. Often at night, you can hear the roar of the jaguar or puma.

Madidi Park - Rio Yacuma

Rise early this morning to take a short walk near the camp where we can enjoy the sunrise and listen to noisy howler monkeys and a variety of birds welcoming the new day.
After breakfast, we will head for the River Tuichi where we will build a log raft, a traditional transport of the Amazonian Indians, and go rafting until we reach the eco-lodge. We will also have a boat for security, our backpacks and for people who do not wish to participate in this activity.
We will have lunch at the Mashaquipe eco-lodge and in the afternoon the group can participate in an activity of its choice.
