The Maya Mountains of Belize soar in the west and are home to a handful of magnificently conserved natural parks. Each is abundant in wildlife, natural pools, creeks, waterfalls, jungles and ancient Mayan relics - and what better way to explore all this than by foot? Retrace the trails of kings and jaguars; on this 9 day tour, you will discover the bygone ruins of Xunantunich and Cahal Pech, stumble into the underworld caves of Xibalba and marvel at the wildlife of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. The Maya Mountains are blessed with both verdant jungles in the west, and breathtaking coastal plains toward the east. You will gradually make your way to the Caribbean Sea, which serves as a welcome place of respite after these soul-stirring treks.

We will tailor this trip to you. Change anything - from excursions to accommodation to places visited.
