India is not just a country but a continent and traveling through it is an experience like no other. Overwhelming in its chaos at first, it gradually unfolds unique delights. You may find it in its majestic forts, monuments, and temples; in exquisite crafts; in traditional and contemporary arts; in the bustle of its colorful bazaars; landscapes and nature reserves; in diverse cuisines; a meal at home with a family, or in the unexpected beauty that filters through the chaos.
This tour has been especially curated for the honeymooning couple who would like to see the highlights of India but we have also suggested some optional adventures - half-day treks, cycle rides and activities over and above the visits to monuments - which will showcase to you the real India, in its people, food, bazaars and experiences.
Here we showcase the most luxurious hotels and exclusive experiences possible. Finish off this once in a lifetime trip in the Maldives, staying on the Maldives’ only fully solar-powered private island.
We will tailor this trip to you. Change anything - from excursions to accommodation to places visited.
Considering the vast and varied landmass, it comes as no surprise that India's climate is complex. If you prefer to avoid extremes of heat and rainfall, it's best to aim for the cooler, drier months of October through to March. However, if a trip to either of the country's extremities appeals, take note: For the southern states, the retreating monsoon (October to December) is a consideration. Here, you find the most appealing climate between November and February. For reliable trekking weather in the Himalayas 1000km to the north, peak season is October, November and then March and April.
