The rugged and undiscovered mountains of the Pyrenees are a haven for wildlife and a paradise for hikers who prefer to explore off the beaten track. Brown bears, chamois, marmots, golden eagles, not to mention the rarest vulture in Europe - in the company of an expert local guide you will discover the full diversity of animal and birdlife of the Pyrenees whilst at the same time enjoying some spectacular mountain landscapes. This outline itinerary is for a 2 centre stay which gives you the best possibility of seeing the maximum wildlife. A single centre, more hiking orientated stay is also possible. The hiking excursions outlined are mainly with your own private guide and are on the basis of 2 people. Accommodation options are flexible, ranging from charming B&Bs to 4* hotels.
