This is a wildly diverse and active two-week tour for intrepid travellers. Immerse yourself in culture, adrenaline activities, history, modern day life and safari wildlife in a relatively unexplored region of East Africa. This tour will take you to the white water of the Nile, over to the marvel of Sipi Falls, up through the savannah of Pian Upe known for its cheetah, and on to Karamoja with its rich traditions and and rock art. Then continue to seek out the Big 5 in Uganda’s Savannah’s of Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls. This tour is only available from November until April (typically the drier months in this region).

Temperatures in Uganda are pleasant year round, so the most important consideration for visitors is the timing of the wet and dry seasons. The driest months are June to August, with December to February close behind. Most choose to visit Uganda during these periods as it is ideal for gorilla trekking and other outdoor activities. Unlike other African nations, tourist attractions in Uganda don’t grind to a halt in the wet seasons, so visits during the rest of the year are possible. April, the wettest month, is best avoided, but those seeking the authentic may enjoy the lower tourist ratio of the rainy months.
