Great trip to Morocco

We could not praise our travel company in Morocco enough. Our travel consultant Mohamed went out of his way to produce an itinerary to satisfy our requests. We had in total an 18 day itinerary which gave us a wonderful insight into what our city guide in Fes described as the 'Moroccan Cocktail'. Morocco has such a remarkable culture ,history, ethnic make up, economic diversity, cuisine and magnificent topography to satisfy anybody's needs. Our guide and driver were a great team and at the end of the trip we felt we we saying goodbye to good friends. The 2 Abdelahs were very courteous and professional in everything they did. We felt we were in a safe pair of 2 hands who ensured that we had a wonderful experience.

What was good about our local partner based in Morocco ?

Our comments above relating to our holiday relate how good the local partner were. You are fortunate to have this company as your 'go to' for Moroccan trips. We could not praise Mohamed, our initial contact who developed our itinerary with us, any higher. Problems we had relating to pre travel documentation and flight cancellations just prior to our holiday start date were handled by Mohmed in a very reassuring way. His team on the ground, the guide and driver, both Abdelahs, were excetpional.

What could our local partner based in Morocco improve on?

Very little.

What did you think about the guides or drivers on your trip?

I do not like repeating myself. They were excellent

What advice would you give to other travellers planning a trip to Morocco?

Read up about the country. Ask yourselves what you want to see and do. What are your real interests? How much are you prepared to travel? Be prepared to be 'guided' but be prepared to say no.

What was the most memorable part of your trip?

This is like asking what are the best books you have read or films you have seen. Here goes. There was this narrow route through the back streets of Marrakesh where I was nearly run over by a motorbike and then assaulted by a pedal bike before crashing into a street traders fruit and vegetable cart. I recovered to see my wife trying to take a photo laughing hysterically at the same time. My wife was laughing; not me. Seriously:- People. History. Culture. Architecture Diversity. Cuisine. Skilled craftsmen and women. Agriculture in both a rich and very harsh environment. Spectacular geographical landscapes of both a physical and human nature. It was all memorable.
